Hirao shop lunch buffet is I think it was summer limited
I have only been to the winter season Ski area price I also feel for foreigners In a delicious place If you want to go Niseko Hanayoshi It is recommended
Awesome, and very quick service.. Japanese food at its best.
great service and location with parking + clean --Overpriced meal with frozen meat quality
Niseko overall has higher food price than other region. If you can deal with it then this salmon eggs rice bowl is good for you. I literally lick every rice out of it.
Great food and fast service! It was the only open restaurant we could find on a Sunday evening in early June along the main street of Kutchan. It seems like the many other restaurants in town are only open during ski season? Even though we came in the restaurant 20 minutes before their closing time they still accommodated us and served us quite quickly. Their set meals (seafood, etc) at dinner time are reasonably priced. Their chawanmushi (savoury egg custard) was quite good. More sweet than savoury and didn't taste/smell very egg-y at all. I also love their gyozas (meat dumplings) and so far one of the best gyozas I had in Japan.
Open all day and has a wonderful selection of amazing sushi and lots of different Japanese specials.
Prepare to send big money, as advertised on the food models in front of the restaurant. You can spend less than ¥2000 but you only get just okay seafood ramen. To be satisfactory prepare at least ¥5000 per person. I ordered the lamb shabu-shabu, which was quite good. I would give 5 star but the three times the workingman's price was far from three times the happiness.
This is a great restaurant with good, authentic food. Don't expect a super cheap meal but the prices are fair for the quality of the service, food and establishment. Lots of options to choose from.
Food quality is good, but I came here 5 years ago n been here many time in this years, price keep rising😓
fresh and quicky served
HORRIBLE SERVICEWhen I was waiting I had to stand and wait they were no chairs! After like 5 min OF waiting they lead us to someone in the restaurant then lead us back to the door to wait. After 30 min of waiting they served a Rae to two people and called for the nine people which after us to seat. It seems like forever then I got a seating. I was so hungry when I sat down after ordering I had to wait another 5 to 10 min to be serve by the food. It was not worth the wait.
We tried the seafood and roast pork ramen. Nice soup base! Good proportion. Complimentary green tea.
Fresh sushi can be found here, been here 3 times and I was never bored of the food here!! Definitely a must visit in Hirafu!! Would always come for the prawn tempura roll and 10/10 would recommend!
Good service and good food, along with a super convenient location. Good also if you have anyone in your party who does not want to eat fish or sushi. Beef hot pot is especially good. Does not accept reservations but even on a Friday evening; not really required. Would recommend this place.
Good food, very well visually presented. Overall quite expensive
Tasty but not affordable. Staff lacked in English skills.
Convenient, yes, but over the years’ it seems to have become more commercialized. Uni was not very fresh which is criminal. Criminal, I say.
Nice hotpot and would be nice if they gave 2 of each as it was mentioned 1pot 2 portions but there was only 1 prawn and 1 shell. Ramen was ok but ingredients was not much. Staff was friendly and nice cozy area just at the intersection.
The sushi quality was decent but obviously super expensive. You’re going to be tempted to go here because it’s one of the only reasonably priced places is Harifu. You’re 100% better off getting the grab and go food from lawsons or the pharmacy unless you’re looking for a restaurant experience.
Very good food - recommended.
Scores high on food speed and service efficiency. Food is decent and price for F&B is reasonable for Niseko. Set menu is reasonable. Yakitori chicken is good flavor.
Great sushi, great tempura... Great vibe.Had a full vegetarian meal.. Recommended
Menu has more sashimi, bento rice, beef nabe. As for noodles, not much selection.
Not a bad place for sushi but bit pricy
A bit expensive, but this is the case for all restaurants in the area during ski season. The food itself wasn't anything special, just as you'd expect from a Japanese resturant. We spent about 8000 yen for 2 hotpots of seafood and a tenpura.Reccomend coming here around 6 or 6:30pm before the skiers finish skiing to beat the rush.
Food not bad. Very filling with all the rice... 😅
Great tasty food. An althentic Japanese meal with a great selection of fresh sushimi and cooked meals.
Friendly staff. The sashimi tasted good, so did the hot pot.
Fresh seafood done family style.
Convenient location atthe bottom of upper hirafu so easy to pop in for lunch at the end of a run - decent sushi and cold beer.
I wouldn't go again. Don't waste your time and money. Service is awful, super slow and not very helpful. We paid 80 AUD for 2 sushi rolls and 2 beers. They were nothing special.
Overall was decent food, but a bit over priced for the quality.
Service was rather slow despite the place being quiet, took about 15’ of trying to get their attention to order but the food came out really quickly once we did. The sashimi was ok but not quite justifying the high prices, their miso was average, and their gyozas quite poor. The Niseko roll was ok but nothing special. Overall, the quality of the food and service fall short of the price tag so I wouldn’t recommend the place.
Sushi is delicious Not a long waiting time
Nice sushi
The staff was polite and helpful. The food quality is low for the price we are paying . Poor quality of beef. I don't think it is Japan beef. It don't have any taste.
Fujizushi is one of the most decent sushi places in town. It looks quiet from the outside, but it can easily get crowded. All the tables are quiet private with partitions. Good and fast service. Fresh sushi ^^
Staff spoke relatively good English. Food was awesome! We had the eel bowl, broiled lamb set and the prawn and vegetable tempura.
The sushi sashimi were not really fresh and they’re really expensive. It’s not worth the price.
Tourist place, rip off price with low quality food!Disappointing....never come back again!
Convenient, yes, but over the years’ it seems to have become more commercialized. Uni was not very fresh which is criminal. Criminal, I say.
Nice place, fresh sashimi
I definitely should have taken a picture but it looked so good I just had to eat. Great sushi for an affordable price. If you want something more fancy don't worry they have enough options for everyone.
The uni and unagi are incredible. Yes it is expensive, but it’s Niseko during ski season.
Walked in due to heavy snow and its central location. The set was decent and sashimi was fresh but bit over priced for its quality. Due to its proximity to many places, lot of tourists come here and maybe that's why service was subpar. It's okay place if you are hungry and don't have the time/energy to hunt for hidden gem places. Don't get the fire grilled uni appetizer (not worth the money) the miso seafood hotpot looked nice although didn't get to try due to its 2 people min. order.
Food quality is good though pricey. Probably a premium to pay for their availability during summer time. (many food outlets are not operating in summer)
Nice food with reasonable price
Food was good and reasonable compared to hotel food prices.
Nice, convenient and comfortable place with okay choices of food but was but pricey. I'd say price is definitely priced for "tourist" spot. Good ambiance with attentive service (but not pushy). I had Seafood Noodles (aka ramen). It was pretty good! Not too heavy/greasy of a soup and ramen. Enjoyed it very much. It was around 1600 yen +tax. One of the cheaper options.
I think the 3.4 star judge r not so in to the way it serve...We think the food here is good and the environment is just like the Japanese one.Foods r great and they also have foreigner waitress which could help ppl can't speak Japanese... GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!
Fast and good service! We had lunch in Summer time. Uni is so good! Beef Hot Pot is awesome I love it so much!
